J and I spent time last week painting Lego-inspired wooden ninjas. I drew the faces, while he painted the body. After about the third one, J informed me I was doing it all wrong. I was making ninjas with happy eyes and smiles. Evidently, ninjas have mean, stern eyes and absolutely no smiles. Hmmmm. "What is wrong with making happy ninjas? Mommies like happy ninjas." "Because, that is how Lego makes their ninjas," J stated emphatically. Hmmmp. I am pretty sure there are no mommy Lego creators;)
